SEI Project: 8th Street Closure

8th Avenue, between 34th and 36th Streets May 5, 2017

On Monday, May 8, 2017, 8th Avenue, between 34th and 36th Streets, will be closed to motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists when the contractor begins a trenching operation to install 36-inch sewer pipe across 8th Avenue. Access to homes in the area will be maintained from either side of the work area. Residents can use 10th Avenue as an alternate north/south route. The trenching operation to cross 8th Avenue is expected to take one week to complete. There will also be a temporary bypass in place during this work.
