Project Information

Twin Peaks-Blue Bonnet Road Gravity Sewer Project

Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (RWRD), along with their contractor, Achen-Gardner Construction, have begun work on segment 1 (phase 3) of the Twin Peaks-Blue Bonnet Road Gravity Sewer Project.  Segment 1 is part of a larger project that extends from Tangerine Road on the north to Cortaro Farms Road on the south. (phase 1 and 2 have already been completed)

Segment 1 of the project will install a new 15-inch diameter sewer interceptor line and 22 manholes alongside Twin Peaks Road from Blue Bonnet Road north to Tangerine Road.

Achen-Gardner will install the 15-inch diameter sewer line along the east side of Twin Peaks Road. The 30-foot sewer easement is located outside of the Twin Peaks Road travel lanes; therefore, this portion of the project will cause minimal impact to the traveling public.

This phase of work is scheduled to be completed in early 2020.

Access for emergency response will always be provided.
